back to the vet
May. 10th, 2011 12:44 pmWhen I got back from teaching in Norwich at about 11 last night, it was clear Leicester wasn't well. He wouldn't eat or cuddle and looked like he was trying to spit something out, though I couldn't see anything in his mouth. He's breathing OK, but with some difficulty--it's like he can't breathe and do anything else at the same time. He also has a temperature, so the vet reckons he's picked up an infection from another cat. He's had some shots to help clear it up and instructions to go back on Thursday if he's no better by then.
He's had all his vaccinations, so chances are this is something minor, but it's sad to see him all sorry for himself.
Humbug, meanwhile, has gone Far Away by himself, which just doens't feel right, but I suppose he has to cover Leicester's jobs for him...
