Fruitcake is home after her thyroid op and doing well. The cats now have their own livejournal account: zil_n_fruitcake .

I blame samandshiva  and tamaranth . They are all Bad Influences.

I'm supposed to be applying for a job today...

I'm not giving our two their own LJ. They're unreasonable enough as it is (viz. the large dead woodpigeon just inside the cat flap when we got home on Sunday evening).

Fruitcake already seems healthier than she has for ages (apart from weird, shaved turkey-neck). She's just gone outdoors for the first time since the op, so she's happy.

To get this job, I have to answer emails from imaginary students who want me to help them set up blogs or extend deadlines because they're planning to be too hung-over to think straight. You have to admire a girl who can schedule her hangovers months ahead.
