I was teaching in Norwich yesterday evening, so I only overlapped with Spidermonkey just long enough to hear that he spent his suspended curriculum day on teamwork and presentations.

Spider and his geek genius friend, M, were in a team with some BTEC Sport people, who may have names but he didn't mention them. The task was to suggest a way for the school to be more environmentally friendly--presentation that gets the most votes to be adopted by senior management. Spider and M sent the BTECH Sports people to measure all the windows in the school while they wrote a presentation for the whole team to deliver. They won. The school now appears to be committed to the total elimination of dihydrogen monoxide from school premises by 2012. Science teachers may have been heard giggling.

Meanwhile Squirrelmonkey was inspecting sharp pointy things in the Tower of London and concluding that Guy Fawkes was framed.

Today, it's back to normal lessons. But I'm left pondering. Why are there broken pieces of protractor scattered across the back of the sofa in the kitchen?
