Bleurgh and possibly expo ticket
Dec. 18th, 2010 04:54 pmSpider is feeling better now, I think. I haven't seen much of him today because I've been struck down with what I thought was the same thing but is now looking more like flu.
I didn't really have weekend plans, luckily, but what provisional hazy ones I was hatching are now off. And I have to work out how to fit 2 days of marking, 2 days of shopping, one day of housework and one outing to London into the remaining time before Christmas. Can't be done, can it?
My mother kindly booked to take the teen monkeys and me to the Egyptian Book of the Dead exhibition at the British Museum on Tuesday. I'd love to go, but it's not looking that likely. If she can't rearrange it and the teens are healthy, is there anyone who'd like to go in my place? Mum would pay for your ticket and I would pay for your train fare, but the catch is you need to travel with the teen monkeys. I'm hoping it won't come to that, but it would be good to hear if anyone's interested.
