We, the Navigators: The Ancient Art of Landfinding in the Pacific

Went to my old college library yesterday in not-very-optimistic search of inspiration on cartography and navigation.  Found more goodies than you can shake a stick at.  The one I wanted badly enough to carry it home was:

We, the Navigators: The Ancient Art of Landfinding in the Pacific
by David Lewis, University of Hawaii Press :)
ISBN 0824815823.

That's my reading for half term.

Oh, now, that sounds *fabulous*! Can't wait to hear how you like it. (One of my favorite books as a child was Thor Heyerdahl's Kon Tiki. So. *g*)

Sounds like the perfect reading, if you ask me :)
