Have just come home from half term with in-laws in Exeter, where we did lots of lovely stuff. Long version later, hopefully. Short version: Shaldon is good; go to Shaldon! (Specifically, go to the London Inn.)
But don't lose your 11 year old on Dartmoor as night is falling...

Not sure what I've missed, but I was ill before we went and managed to wash my phone. It seems to have dried out nicely while we were gone, and even kept my photos, but if you've contacted me and had no response, you might want to try again...

Turned out he was not so much lost as lying in ambush. A pity he chose a hiding place just BEYOND a crossroads, along the path we were not going to take, and mere feet away from a rushing, potentially monkey-devouring torrent... Still, running and screaming is good aerobic excercise, right?
