Thank you for all the get-well wishes. It seems to be working, but please don't stop yet.

His purr came back on line late last night, followed by eating and scampering functions this morning, but scampering is intermittent and prone to crash. The vet says he still has a temperature, so he has more antibiotics (pills this time--what fun!) and instructions to come back if worse or no better by Wednesday.

He's playing (very slowly) with a slinky now. But I'm a worrier and I won't feel happy till they're tearing round the house playing lions'n'wildebeest again.
