So here I was, wondering whether to vote Green on principle or Lib Dem as the best that might actually win in Cambridge...*

I suspect most of you who can vote in the British election have already decided what to do about it. But
might be fun anyway.

No surprises that Greens and Lib Dems are neck and neck for my monkey vote.

More surprising that Lib Dems are slightly ahead. And Labour significantly behind.

*Do not get me started on [livejournal.com profile] musique_monkey 's complex tactical calculations re the best way to use one vote to keep the Tories out of government when your constituency isn't going to elect one anyway.

I'm uncertain about the LDs for our local council election, though. They've had a majority for too long and they've done some stuff I don't care for (mostly around housing). So Green for that, imho!

Good point. I was only thinking of MPs--I'll certainly vote Green for the local stuff.

Would have been Labour/Green once, but not since Iraq.
