Someone has fought and killed a large piece of polystyrene padding from the trampoline and carried it up the garden to start a pile by the back door.

It's fine. The trampoline is falling apart anyway. We only got it because it was too rusted for the previous owners to dismantle and move. I'd much rather he pulled off the disintegrating padding than slaughtered the local bird life.
