Leicester has gone missing.  He was last seen at about 4 yesterday afternoon.  He didn't come in for his dinner, which would be unusual except that he also did it yesterday.  And he's still not back today, which is really really unusual.  I know he's probably just found a whole nest of mice, but I'm worried.  Spider and I have been all round the area calling and looking.  I'm going to give him until dinner time tonight before I alert the neighbours and put up posters.

Humbug, who routinely stays out all night is sitting at home like a model kitty not even venturing onto the terrace.  I swear they do it to confuse me

Yikes. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed that your wandering Leicester comes home pronto.

Sorry to hear this - I would worry too no matter how much I thought that he might just be being a boy cat enjoying the good weather or being a Six Dinner Sid.

Inevitably, he'll appear half an hour after you have run off the posters.

Oh that is so worrying - I hope he comes back soon.

Mine do have a tendency to go AWOL in the summer and spend days and nights out of doors. And it is a new area - he could have found somewhere new and exciting to go. Thinking if which, is there any way he could have found his way back to the old house? Seems a bit unlikely, I know.
