That's how long it took Leicester from pelvis repair surgery to trying to pull back the bolts and open the cage door himself.

It was faster than that really because he was drugged out and not moving much for the first week.  In fact, it's only been 10 days at most since he started feeling well enough to want to get out of the cage.

Luckily, the apes who designed the bolts put strong springs on them, so he hasn't got the strength to pull them back even though he's worked out that's what he needs to do.

Humbug may now be Acting Top Cat, but Leicester will always be Chief Engineer.

He is amazing. Big cheers from this side of the pond for brave Leicester! And he is smart too. What a guy...

Wow, he's clever! *impressed* It's lovely that he's well enough to be trying to get out of his tiger cage. Thank goodness he can't manage it. *g*

A cat of character, for sure. And he is clearly the brains of the operation ...

Clever boy!
Of course, he will remember this trick, for application to cupboards, doors, the fridge...
